Club Information Not an official member of Key Club yet? Here are some hints: To participate in events, and to get your hours at the end of the year, you must fill out the online membership form, pay the $15.00 in dues, turn in your receipt to the officers, and go to events! To sign up for events, you must register for the division forums (d7south.org) with your first and last name. After you account is approved, you can sign up for events through the Franklin Forums page! Every member is required to have 15 hours of Key Club community service finished, outside of Awake-A-Thon, Club Meetings, and Relay For Life! In previous years, the requirement was 50 hours per year, but it was unfair towards those who didn't attend Relay For Life, or the two Awake-A-Thons. This way, those who do not attend can still easily fulfill their requirements. Remember, getting 15 hours is very easy to do! We even have members who have completed more than 200 hours! If you do not fulfill your 15 hours, we will not sign off your hours at the end of the year! There is no excuse for not completing them! Dues: How your $15.00 is split up: $6.50 goes to Key Club International -Helps pay for "Key Club Insurance when you go to Key Club events -Pays for membership pins, cards, and the KEYNOTER magazine -Gives you the privilege of attending events like Fall Rally and DCON $4.50 goes to the Cali-Nev-Ha District -Senior Scholarships -Administrative and mailing costs $4.00 goes to Franklin Key Club -Helps dampen the cost of buses, t-shirts, club materials, socials, things that benefit YOU the member What are you waiting for?
